TRIPHASE SANCOCHO

Ingredients

  • 3 liters of water
  • 2 pounds of yucca
  • 4 pounds of potato
  • 4 green bananas
  • 8 pieces of chicken
  • 2 sprigs of coriander
  • 1 paprika (chopped)
  • 3 split ears
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of annatto
  • 2 pounds of beef rib
  • 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 2 pounds of pork ribs
  • 1 big onion (chopped)
  • Half a teaspoon of cumin

Preparation

  1. Start by frying the onion and garlic in a large pot
  2. Wait for them to brown and add the water
  3. Also add the chicken, beef, pork, corn and green plantain.
  4. You also add a little salt (to taste) and cook for 45 minutes over medium heat
  5. After these minutes, add the potato and yucca to the pot.
  6. This time you are going to let it cook for another 30 minutes.
  7. After this time check that all the ingredients are cooked and add cilantro and parsley to taste
  8. Finally, serve with rice and avocado.
