SWEET AND SOUR VEGETABLES
Ingredients
- Oil
- Salt and pepper
- ¼ cup of water
- 250 grams of green beans
- 1 red bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
- 3 chiles de arbol (chopped)
- 1 yellow bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 cup of cauliflower in florets
- 1 cup of broccoli in florets
- 200 grams of kale (chopped)
- 1 cup of pineapple jam
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 250 grams of chickpeas (cooked)
- 2 centimeters of ginger (grated)
- 250 grams of peas (cooked)
- 8 pieces of cambray onion (in half)
- 4 tablespoons peanut or sesame oil
Preparation
- Start by preparing the sauce, to do this heat the jam in a saucepan along with the water
- Once it is well integrated, add the grated ginger, the soy sauce and the chiles de arbol
- Then season and boil for 5 minutes
- Now in a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the oil for 10 minutes.
- Then add the cauliflower and sauté for 1 minute
- Add the broccoli, peppers, green beans, peas, onion and chickpeas
- Sauté everything for 3 minutes and finally add the kale
- Now add the pineapple sauce and season
- Cook for 10 minutes to finish cooking the vegetables. Serve hot.
