ROASTED TOFU WITH VEGETABLES

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons of mirin
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 cup of sushi rice
  • 1 head of broccoli (chopped)
  • 200 grams of tofu (in cubes)
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 chambray onions (split in half)

Preparation

  1. The first thing you will do is rinse the rice until the water stops coming out cloudy
  2. Drain it and leave it in a pot with the water
  3. Now cover it and cook over high heat.
  4. Wait for it to boil and lower the heat to a minimum
  5. Let cook about 13 minutes without uncovering and reserve
  6. On the other hand, sauté onions and broccoli in oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  7. Add the tofu, soy sauce and mirin
  8. Finally, serve on a bed of rice.
