PHAD THAI

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of rice noodles
  • 100 grams of germ
  • 50 grams pickled tofu, in small pieces
  • 50 grams ground dried shrimp
  • 50 grams of chopped peanuts
  • 50 grams of Chinese chives
  • 20 grams of minced shallot
  • 50 milliliters cooking oil
  • 16 skinless and tailless prawns
  • 4 eggs

SAUCE:

Ingredients:

  • 50 grams of palm sugar
  • 50 grams of refined sugar
  • 10 grams of tomato paste
  • 50 milliliters tamarind juice
  • 10 milliliters fish sauce
  • 10 milliliters lime juice

Preparation:

  1. You are going to mix the fish sauce with the tamarind juice, the lime juice, the sugar and the tomato paste and leave it on the fire until it boils
  2. Keep the mixture on low heat until it thickens
  3. Meanwhile stir the shallots with the pickled tofu until fragrant
  4. Then add the noodles and prawns and stir until cooked
  5. Add the phad thai sauce and cook until you get the desired consistency
  6. Then you add the germ, the peanut, the shrimp powder and the chives and we serve
  7. Garnish the plate with lime wedges, germ, fresh chives, chili powder and Thai seasoning.
