PAD THAI

Ingredients:

  • 1 lime (or lemon)
  • 2 carrots (grated)
  • 2 fistfuls of peanuts
  • oil of your choice
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • chili flakes to taste
  • 2 handfuls of bean sprouts
  • 1 onion (cut into strips)
  • 2 tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons coriander (chopped)
  • 250 grams of rice noodles
  • 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 scallions (chopped - green part only)
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce (or fish sauce)
  • 250 grams of chicken breast (cooked and sliced)

Preparation:

  1. Start by soaking the noodles in salted water for 30 minutes or following the instructions on the package.
  2. On the other hand, cook the chicken and cut the vegetables
  3. Then in a wok with hot oil, you are going to fry the carrots, the onion and the tomatoes
  4. You add the garlic, the noodles and the chicken
  5. Stir well to combine the flavors very well.
  6. Add the sauce and sugar. Mix until all ingredients are well combined
  7. Finally you serve by adding the bean sprouts, chives, lime and chili flakes
  8. You can decorate with peanuts and cilantro.
