KHAO NHIEW MA-MUANG
Ingredients:
- 200 gr of rice soaked for 6 – 8 hours.
- 50 grams of sugar
- 10 grams of salt
- 100ml coconut milk
- 4 pieces of mango (cut)
- 2 pandan leaves
Preparation:
- We start by simmering the coconut milk with the pandan leaves, the sugar and the salt until the latter two dissolve.
- then let cool
- Meanwhile steam the rice until cooked
- In a bowl put the rice and mix it with the coconut milk
- Cover the container and let stand between 15 and 20 min.
COCONUT SAUCE:
Ingredients:
- 50ml coconut milk
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 10 grams of sugar
Preparation:
- For the sauce, boil the coconut milk together with the sugar and salt.
- then let cool
- Finally, place the rice in a container and cover it with the coconut sauce. Serve with the mango pieces.
