KHAO NHIEW MA-MUANG

Ingredients:

  • 200 gr of rice soaked for 6 – 8 hours.
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 10 grams of salt
  • 100ml coconut milk
  • 4 pieces of mango (cut)
  • 2 pandan leaves

Preparation:

  1. We start by simmering the coconut milk with the pandan leaves, the sugar and the salt until the latter two dissolve.
  2. then let cool
  3. Meanwhile steam the rice until cooked
  4. In a bowl put the rice and mix it with the coconut milk
  5. Cover the container and let stand between 15 and 20 min.

COCONUT SAUCE:

Ingredients:

  • 50ml coconut milk
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 10 grams of sugar

Preparation:

  1. For the sauce, boil the coconut milk together with the sugar and salt.
  2. then let cool
  3. Finally, place the rice in a container and cover it with the coconut sauce. Serve with the mango pieces.
