VIETNAMESE FRESH ROLLS

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams of green beans
  • 12 wafers of rice paste
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 tablespoons ketjap manis (sweet soy sauce that can be substituted for soy sauce and sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons fermented fish or oyster sauce
  • 1 lightly beaten egg white
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 piece of celery
  • 1 spring onion
  • Tabasco drops
  • Sweet and sour sauce
  • Soy sauce
  • Cilantro

Preparation:

  1. In the wok, heat oil and fry the chopped garlic and spring onion. Once the onion is golden brown, sauté the julienned carrot, the celery in strips and the beans on top for 2-3 minutes. Take it out and reserve it.
  2. Immediately marinate the mixture with the Tabasco, the oyster sauce, the coriander and the sweet soy sauce.
  3. Then you spread the rice wafers and add the filling, paint the ends with the egg white, close the edges and roll them up
  4. Then you steam the rolls for 5 minutes
  5. Serve hot accompanied by the sweet and sour sauce and the soy sauce.
  6. To eat them, they must be cut lengthwise to introduce the desired sauce inside, at the time of eating.
