FOI THONG

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 cups of sugar
  • 10 duck eggs
  • 4 pandan leaves, to wrap

Preparation:

  1. You are going to start by separating the egg whites and yolks.
  2. Now, in a bowl beat the yolks
  3. Then pass the beaten yolks through a sieve
  4. Then heat the water and add the sugar until it is melted. Keep on medium-low heat
  5. Then with the help of a very fine pastry bag or duya you can form the threads with the beaten yolks
  6. You are going to let it cook for a few seconds and remove from the syrup.
