FOI THONG
Ingredients:
- 4 cups of water
- 4 cups of sugar
- 10 duck eggs
- 4 pandan leaves, to wrap
Preparation:
- You are going to start by separating the egg whites and yolks.
- Now, in a bowl beat the yolks
- Then pass the beaten yolks through a sieve
- Then heat the water and add the sugar until it is melted. Keep on medium-low heat
- Then with the help of a very fine pastry bag or duya you can form the threads with the beaten yolks
- You are going to let it cook for a few seconds and remove from the syrup.
