BUA LOY
Ingredients:
- 4 and a half cups of water
- half a teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 and a half cans of coconut milk
- Drops of natural (or artificial) food coloring
- 1 and a half cup of glutinous rice flour
Preparation:
- In a container I add a cup and a half of water with a drop of food coloring and mix
- Then you add half a cup of rice flour and mix very well to form a dough
- Repeat the previous two steps with each half cup of flour and use different dyes
- Then form very small balls of a centimeter in diameter with each mass. Note: first form all of the same color and wash your hands, so as not to stain the following masses of other colors.
- Then you heat abundant water in a pot and when it is already boiling add the balls
- You are going to remove them from the water when they are already on the surface. You will see that first they go to the bottom and then they begin to float
- Remove from the water and let cool
- On the other hand, heat the coconut milk with the sugar and salt in a container until it boils
- Once the milk is ready, add the colored balls and let them cook for 3 minutes and you are ready to serve.
